Contemporary Junior
NEW CLASS FOR TERM 2!
Wednesday 5.30 - 6.15pm
A 45 minute class for students aged 8 - 12 years, introducing students to the fundamentals and vocabulary of Contemporary dance, focusing on the use of body weight to enhance movements and learning correct techniques to fall into and move out of the floor.
Contemporary students have the opportunity to participate in our mid-year showcase and perform in our end of year recital.

Uniform consists of Expressions t-shirt or singlet and jazz pants / shorts.

Contemporary Senior
Wednesday 7.15 - 8.15pm
A 1 hour class for students aged 13 + years with previous dance experience, developing Contemporary technique focusing on more complex movement sequences incorporating leaps, turns and simple tricks.
​
Contemporary students have the opportunity to participate in our mid-year showcase and perform in our end of year concert.
​
Uniform consists of black Expressions singlet or Expressions t-shirt and Jazz shorts / pants.
