About Us
With new owners taking over Xpressions Dance in 2025, this long-established studio offers classes in a variety of genres including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary. In 2025 we introduced open dance classes for adults as well as barre fitness.
At Xpressions our goal is to create a welcoming, fun environment and share the passion for dance - for kids and adults now too.
Come along and let us help you discover what dance can do for you - let's get moving and express ourselves!

The studio prides itself in providing a high standard of technical teaching. Teachers are experienced professionals that have excelled in their dance or teaching careeers, enabling our students to strive for their best. Xpressions Dance has a proven history of students excelling with great exam results.
In 2026 we are proud to bring fresh, highly regarded syllabi to Xpressions students: RAD Ballet, ISTD for Tap and APDA's JazzAddict and Urban Ignition (hip hop).

Alex Reelick
Tap & Jazz
Haylee has danced from a young age in both Ballet and Contemporary styles. She has trained in RAD, NZAMD, Vaganova, and Cecchetti dance styles and excelled in her examinations for these. Her dancing has allowed her to compete in regional and national competitions and be a part of the New Zealand School of Dance associates program. She was lucky enough to train in New York, Canada, and Australia at a pre-professional level, during this time she was able to work with renowned choreographers and focus on developing both her technique and her artistry whilst performing. She is committed to sharing her wealth of knowledge with the next generation of talented dancers.
Kat is happy to have with even more classes to teach in 2025. She has danced for 17 years mainly in Ballet and Contemporary dance, and studied at Unitec for her Bachelor's in Performing and Screen Arts (Contemporary Dance) - graduating in 2022.
