For dancers wishing to enter their RAD Class Award examinations or Exam for this year, confirmation and fees are now due.

Exams will take place between early‑August and mid‑September and will likely require students to be taken out of school for a few hours on the day of their exam.

To enter please complete the exam entry form (opposite). This must be completed and paid by 18 May. NO LATE ENTRIES.​

IF ENTRY IS NOT RECEIVED BY 18 MAY, IT IS PRESUMED YOU DO NOT WISH TO ENTER YOUR DANCER.

 

A note for Class Award examinations: Students enter the exam room in groups with a teacher and receive both a medal & certificate.​

RAD Ballet exam fees:​

Primary Class Award: $115

Grade 1 Class Award: $125

Grade 2 Class Award: $135

Grade 3 Class Award: $145

Grade 4 Class Award: $165

Grade 5 Class Award: $165

Intermediate Ballet Exam: $290

These fees include the external RAD fee as well as compulsory exam practices and a mock exam session where students receive feedback to help them work towards their exam.

Note: Exam fees are not refundable. However if you don't take the exam on the day and present a doctor's certificate, then 50% will be refunded by the Royal Academy of Dance minus any admin charges.
